Describe your contributions to and achievements in family planning.

I have both personally, and through the Adolescent360 project been able to educate young girls about their sexual and reproductive health rights.
I oversee the mobilization and referral of adolescent girls to the health facilities in two communities in Oyo State (100 and 50 girls respectively, weekly)
I support and oversee the love life and health sessions held every other Saturday at selected health facilities in Oyo State.
I have in my own little way been able to break the stigmas associated with family planning especially among young girls in my community and the communities I've been designated to work in.

What sparked your passion for family planning?

The hypocrisy that comes from locking young girls up and stifling their voices because of the inability to open one's mind to the truth of this evolving world. Young girls deserve to take charge of their lives how they see fit. it is unfair for society to cage them just because they cannot move to the tune of the evolving world.

Give one or two examples of how you display leadership in your family planning work.:

I work majorly with the M&E team on the A360 project so my job involves a lot of team work but i have been put in charge of some major responsibilities which i was able to handle professionally like database management for one or two implementing States, collation of weekly, monthly, bi-annually and annually reports for implementing States. I also make sure i'm adept in the knowledge of whatever i have to present or explain concerning family planning so as not to mislead anyone.

If you are named a winner of 120 under 40, how will you use this new platform and the $1000 grant to advance your work? :

I would use this platform and grant to organize as many outreaches as possible in order to educate young girls on SRH rights and give them free access to modern contraceptives.
