Describe your contributions to and achievements in family planning.

Outreach Services: Providing family planning services to undeserved women in rural communities through effective health education.
Training, Coaching and Mentoring of health care workers on provision of Family Planning services.
collaborating with the Zamfara Family Planning Coordinator to provide Family Planning Commodities to the facilities to avoid out stock.
Support to health care providers to initiate family planning services in the facilities and to ensure proper documentation of data.
Establishment of state and zonal outreach team to provide family planning in the rural communities

What sparked your passion for family planning?

Some of the Major things that attract my attention on family planning is to improve the health of women, children and the entire family and also to reduce pregnancy related condition through the use of family planning, increase child survival and to improve on the socio economic status of the family, community and the entire country at large.

Give one or two examples of how you display leadership in your family planning work.:

Effective Communication: Having working in a rural communities, i do communicate with them in such away that they understand the message which am trying pass and also to understand fully my message, am using the language they understand better during health education on the important of family planning to the mother, newborn, children, father , community and to the nation as whole. I avoid using slang and ambiguous words for better understanding
Team Building and team spirit.

If you are named a winner of 120 under 40, how will you use this new platform and the $1000 grant to advance your work? :

Innovative, this means that i will scale up to the delivery of family planning services to the women particularly in the rural communities
improve the capacity of health care workers on the provision of family planning services
Creation of awareness to less privileged communities on the use of family planning services
Community structure engagement such as traditional birth attendance, religious leaders to create more awareness on family planning
