What sparked your passion for family planning?

Though we are saying “Health is Rights, Not Privilege.” In Bangladesh, women are still lacking access to FP service, lack of education, abused by men, discriminated by parents, no ability to decision making and forced marriage in early age. Most of these has sparked me to move to family planning field.

Give one or two examples of how you display leadership in your family planning work.:

I lead the discussion of the FP managers to develop special FP day plan through district approach which is help to meet the need of FP services of those clients who live below the sub-district level, and hard-to –reach areas.

I lead the discussion of the FP field workers to ensure client privacy and confidentiality during counseling, informed choice and voluntarism, and proper documentation.

I lead to FP managers for analyzing data for decision making and take step regarding findings.

If you are named a winner of 120 under 40, how will you use this new platform and the $1000 grant to advance your work? :

• If I get the money then organize youth dialogue (Debate) in community level and mobilize them to work as a youth peer volunteer.
• My plan is to use social media develop a network for ensuring referral system for FP clients
• I will organize an adolescent “ADDA” by youth peer in lowest coverage areas as like as a life skill based training during “ADDA”
• To develop a toll free call center for disseminating updated FP information
• I will utilize the grant to aware adolescent need of FP.
