Describe your contributions to and achievements in family planning.

As Edo State Coordinator for National Youth Network on Population and HIV/AIDS (NANETHA) I designed and implement program that build the capacity of 47 youth organizations and local groups on youth reproductive health family planning and today this organization is organizing community awareness program on family planning and sexual reproductive health.

What sparked your passion for family planning?

I want to reduce poverty to lowest state and bring better life for rural community dwellers.

Give one or two examples of how you display leadership in your family planning work.:

As the coordinator of the youth network I work with my team and executive member to carry out this project assigning roles and responsibility to all members. When we challenges we all work together with local authority to organized our training.

If you are named a winner of 120 under 40, how will you use this new platform and the $1000 grant to advance your work? :

I will use the money to start a life radio program that will educate women and youth from rural communities. The radio program will create a platform for listeners to phone in and ask question or make contributions. As for the platform I will use it to strengthen our network and increase our local membership reaching many hard to reach community in Edo state Nigeria.
