Describe your contributions to and achievements in family planning.

creating awareness about family planning.before family was rejected in my culture since it was viewed as against the culture.i took the step of incorporating FGM,earlyb child marriages and family olanning as a got also the opportunity of promoting the other good culture.we mainly conduct motivational talks and trainings in schools and in return we conduct community dialogues with the parents at the village.it was really hard at first but muy biggest achievement is being able to create awareness and clarify on the misconceptions about family planning.atleast the FP intake has increased in my village compared to before.

What sparked your passion for family planning?

the high rate of teenage pregnancies at my area.My county was leading at 40% in the whole country and i realised the main course was FGM ,early marriage and low intake of FP
