Referrals were made to health facilities and up to 60% of about 500 individuals that reached the facility monthly adopted a method. I have organised trainings, seminars, supervisory visits to health care providers to achieve balanced counselling for FP. I have organised community mobilization activities targeted at men to achieve male involvement in FP.

What sparked your passion for family planning?

Seeing young girls stop or delay their education or get discriminated or ostracized by family, religious bodies and community, as a result of teenage pregnancy, seeing women die as a result of child birth from causes that can be prevented by Family planning, gave me a course for concern and sparked up an interest and passion for me in this life saving field.
