4.0 I helped establish teen clubs in 6 secondary schools . The teen clubs are the resource centres for sexual and reproductive health among the youth in schools

What sparked your passion for family planning?

The following factors sparked my passion for Family Planning:
1.0 High fertility rate which is at 7.3 in my District and 6 in Malawi.
2.0 High rates of teen pregnancy among the students and the youth in my area. this was a major alarm as many young girls dropped from school and destroy their futures
3.0 High rates of maternal deaths and complications which are secondary to poor family planning choices and lack of information about safe motherhood
4.0 Lack of information on SRH and rights.

Give one or two examples of how you display leadership in your family planning work.:

3.0 i recognize the couples who use long lasting family planning methods to act as role models in community campaigns

If you are named a winner of 120 under 40, how will you use this new platform and the $1000 grant to advance your work? :
