Describe your contributions to and achievements in family planning.

Have launched a study on youth reproductive barriers to access family planing service in Senegal over 14 departments. Launched a youth subgroup network of practice and advocacy to stop empty shelves in francophone West and Central Africa. Am launching a regional strategy on youth access to diversified products and services on family planing including abortion.

What sparked your passion for family planning?

The fact that anyone should be the chief of its body makes me feel confident on the struggle am involved.
I made a single glance of religious and social taboos in West Africa which are not allowing contraception for young people.

Give one or two examples of how you display leadership in your family planning work.:

I display leadership through my engagement, my work and the ideas I implement all over West and Central Africa. I work in team and we all want the same thing: availability of the FP products to the young people, no matter the price, the age and so. I work closely with reprensentatives, NGo's, health workers and midwives and make sure they understand by facts based on the datas and evidence the objectives.

If you are named a winner of 120 under 40, how will you use this new platform and the $1000 grant to advance your work? :

By financing micro project on products providing on the field in Dakar with young people's associative and midwives. This money could help boys and girls away from the urban zone to access to the products they want by social marketing and youth friendly providing.
