What sparked your passion for family planning?

Mostly when we say family planning we just look at only services leaving Human Rights aside has hindered the service of family planning and most are affected not because they don't want to access the service but the tight restrictions in community like religious and cultural beliefs
high unsafe abortions in young people,and women this was under a project SAAF WGNRR, Teenage pregnancies in girls
Policies which restrict provision of services to a certain age yet they are more affected

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced in your family planning efforts, and what have you done to overcome it?

Limited information to HIV positive women about family planning,women living where sterilized without their consent and coerced of different family planning not of their choice.Service providers thought they no life to give birth
Under different research and interventions with ICWEA we managed to document stories so that we create awareness of Sexual reproductive health rights mainly for women living with HIV and this campaign is still on call to End criminalisation against WLHIV

What is your (country/region/city)’s biggest challenge in family planning, and how can it be addressed?

Eastern central also near board of Kenya where to many cases of high teenage pregnancies and unsafe abortions at 30.6% of teenage pregnancies due to many cultural which don't believe in family planning and restrict women from access these services
Male involvement they are key in family planning as the head of families and religious and cultural leaders

Provision of mobile clinic services to women

What do you want to accomplish in the next 5 years?

Implementation of hotline with a purpose to strengthen women and young people with updated information on Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights,referrals and capacity building
This will help in increase on access,utilization and demand of services
Through a hotline still want to keep connected with women and young girls and follow ups with in planning and creating of income generating activities which helps them to sustain themselves.
