Describe your contributions to and achievements in family planning.

According to my opinion spending time with local community, exchanging opinions and accepting different opinions would be potential solution for the resolution of the identified problem. So we are using community based interactive sessions. Through such sessions we were able to know the problems of under-privileged people and to aware them with proper education. In many areas females don't feel comfortable to visit doctors for the checkup which are causing many health issues among them. They are just walking on the path what is given by their ancestors. Conducting community based interactive sessions is not an easy task to do so but its quite an effective medium to know the issues at grassroots level properly to work more promptly to advocate proper health education including SRHR and FP

What sparked your passion for family planning?

Our society is facing several problems which are disrupting the health. Being girl i know how important proper education on Family planning is. Females are facing several health problems during pregnancy, maternity and delivering a baby just because of the less access to Family Planning. Therefore, i took initiated a campaign to spread awareness through community based interactive sessions using Art and innovation as well.

Give one or two examples of how you display leadership in your family planning work.:

I was the very first girl of my family who stood against the stereotypes and to spread awareness of Girls' Health issues, SRHR of girls and FP. I conducted several sessions with the females of my family, workplace and then with other females too. I'm now leading a group of young girls who are helping me out in spreading awareness and knowledge about family planning for a healthy family. Our society should accept that females are the most important part of family and ultimately whole community.

If you are named a winner of 120 under 40, how will you use this new platform and the $1000 grant to advance your work? :

Through this grant i will be conducting more community based interactive session where the family are not even aware about the health education and are far from the concept of family planning and SRHR. I will be enhancing and strengthening my group to reach maximum females along with the proper SRHR and Family planning education. We will conduct maximum community based interactive sessions to increase our outreach and to advocate as much as possible.
