Describe your contributions to and achievements in family planning.

I use social media to advocate for the use of birth control
I have over 400 followers on social media and I have spoken to over 200 off social media on birth control.

What sparked your passion for family planning?

I am from a community in benue state Nigeria where the use of birth control is forbidden
The people believe it is against the culture and custom to use birth control, they marry wives and have children without plan simply because they believe it Is God that gives children,I went to University and realized that the reason they believe in this till date is because no body told them otherwise, I have since been using my voice for over 12 years but more need to be done

Give one or two examples of how you display leadership in your family planning work.:

One time I summon courage to speak to the woman in our local assembly in my community about giving birth to children they can care for regardless of the society believes years ago, even though it was not captured with camera,it still remain my proud moment and I will do more in future

If you are named a winner of 120 under 40, how will you use this new platform and the $1000 grant to advance your work? :

I will create a project called
Childhood dreams:this project will help men and women accross Nigeria see birth control as an empowerment and fund people who have given up on their dreams because of early marriage, teenage pregnancy and numbers of children
