It provides SRHR services to the right holders in 20 Districts of Bangladesh. In 2018 we served people with 48007 contraceptives including Oral pills, Condom, IUD etc; 30,377 MR done through MRM & MVA, 14,401 safe motherhood support including ANC,PNC & delivery. Counselling service provided to 10,020 on OBS related problems including RTI/STI; imparted training to 209 health care providers on MR, PAC & others SRHR issues and improve up to take of modern contraceptive.
I am advocating & enhancing knowledge to build a social movement to address safe MR rights, women's rights, SRHR rights for persons with disabilities.

What sparked your passion for family planning?

Young people haven’t access information on FP methods because of existence a culture of silence & handicapped persons also denied to get information & services because of ignorance & attitudes of society including health care providers. Many have been subjected to force sterilizations, forced marriages or abortions, early pregnancies, sexual abuse etc.
Which sparked me & made me committed to advocating for the rights of access FP & SRHR information & services both unmarried & married individuals.

Give one or two examples of how you display leadership in your family planning work.:

I am contributing in maintaining MIS data & generate report for different authorities. Organizing forum & creating awareness to rights of FP services for the women at reproductive age.
I initiated & led the project of ‘Women’s Voice” that aim at breaking silence, taboos & raising voices against violence & supervising a team of 4, including monitoring them.
Working as a global citizen & creating network, adapting new methods, learning are central to my leadership in FP.

If you are named a winner of 120 under 40, how will you use this new platform and the $1000 grant to advance your work? :
