What sparked your passion for family planning?

After an in-depth analysis of the issue of educating children from vulnerable families with consequences such as juvenile delinquency, family abandonment, I have found that integrating FP into our communities is crucial as this children does not produce kids we need to keep this children with high quality of life
And the idea was the creation of the organization "Youth Engaged for Change" (YEC). A platform training young people on responsible sexuality and modern contraception.

Give one or two examples of how you display leadership in your family planning work.:

Under my leadership as Youth Engaged for Change coordinator, we empowered High school and university students to make informed choices on SRHR and Famil Planning.
Through the IYAFP, which I also coordinate,in conjunction with UNFPA-DRC we organized a vast awareness campaign on modern contraceptive methods in a festival called Amani, which brings together,000 people and more than 2000 young people received SRHR/FP information and services.

If you are named a winner of 120 under 40, how will you use this new platform and the $1000 grant to advance your work? :

With the 1000 USD grant I plan to reach out young vulnerable In the street with SRHR/FP information and service and also empower with life skills as we change their life and help them realize their full potential.
I will group 180 young people in six different groups called VSLA (Village Saving and Loan Association). Those groups aim to empower young people in the matter of Family planning by raising their financial condition by starting their own business.
