Describe your contributions to and achievements in family planning.

engaging with the County Health Department to Push for Budget allocation for Family Planning and Establishment of Youth Friendly Health Facilities for the Financial Year 2017/2018.
through the meeting with the County assembly Budget and Health Committee, The Members of the County assembly Were able to understand and see the need to have youth frindly health centers in Uasin Gishu County to serve the high Population by allocating a budget line of 10M for Family planning and Commitment to Establish 35 Youth friendly health facilities by creating space in the already existing health facilities and equipping.
we have had bi Monthly Community outreach activities with the County Reproductive health Team, and Providing Free Cancer screening, Family planning and SRH friendly to Young people

What sparked your passion for family planning?

The need to have a responsible youthful generation, that is productive.
the Current socio economic status of the country expose young people to different risk factors that have been contributed by the availability of technology.

there is need for young people to take charge of their health and make health choices, a health individual is a wealthy individual.
the Current Population is composed of young people. investing in Family planning in young people guarantees Sustainability

Delegation of Duties and responsibility through Partnership and Networking
Involving the Community in Planning and Implementation of the Activity panned with Continuous Monitoring and Evaluation

If you are named a winner of 120 under 40, how will you use this new platform and the $1000 grant to advance your work? :

Develop advocacy Material in form of Video, Audio and Print to improve access to information on family planning to young people in Kenya,
Have regular Youth Friendly Educational and awareness campaigns,
Liase with other Stakeholder in reproductive Health to host conferences and seminars on Adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health and rights whereby students and participants present Papers and publications
