If you are named a winner of 120 under 40, how will you use this new platform and the $1000 grant to advance your work? :

Becoming one of the 120 under 40 will allow me to shine a spotlight on the importance of male engagement in family planning. The EMERGE Lab has compiled numerous ways in which sexual and reproductive health issues are relevant to men. These strategies are not new however, but rather fenced in by hegemonic masculinity. We will use this platform to empower men against conventional masculinities that would prevent them from acting publicly as supportive partners and allies.
