Aisha has been passionate about issues of reproductive health and has worked relentlessly in improving reproductive health of young people, especially the vulnerable and hard to reach through advocacy, health education and community mobilization. – Nominator
Describe your contributions to and achievements in family planning.

1. I coordinate a weekly program aimed at improving sexual and reproductive health of in-school Adolescents through life planning education.
2. I educate young Orphans and vulnerable children every first Saturday of the month of reproductive health and contraception
3. I provide technical support and partnership for family planning outreaches through community mobilization and Health education

What sparked your passion for family planning?

1. The rate of unwanted pregnancy and a lot of abbandoned children on the street
When I attended the 5th ICFP conference in Kigali and saw the contributions young people we're making to the Family Planning development space

Give one or two examples of how you display leadership in your family planning work.:

1. I am an advocate for family planning and display good example for the people I work with.
2. I provide supportive supervision for the people I work with

If you are named a winner of 120 under 40, how will you use this new platform and the $1000 grant to advance your work? :

1. I will use it to expand my program with in-school and out of school adolescents/young people especially does in remote areas that are hard to reach and those living on the street. Taget of 500
2. I will empower 100 young people that will actually as peer educatorw and champions of ASRH and Family planning
